| I find the composition a bit un-nerving, and amn't keen on the shadow under the bill (?beak), but focus and exposure are pleasing. |

| I like this photo a lot...really crisp. I feel like I could be lying on the sand having a conversation with the gull, discussing biology! :) |

| not bad. i get more of a "wildlife" vibe off this than a "biology" vibe. the wave in the background is a nice touch. - 6 |

| This is a photo which I would like to see more depth of feild. The simple wave in the background has some great texture and it would be cool to have that in focus to sort of balance out the top of the photo with the bird. The lighting is nicely done though and the textures of the shells is neat. |
