Had fun with this one :O)

Had something completely different planned, but the local produce store wouldn't give me permission to shoot :O(, so this was something I came up with on the morning of the deadline. Really happy with the way it turned out. Not sure about the crop though.

Took apart a $5 clock, and inserted the hands into the orange. Had to fill in around where I had carved out to hide the gears. Hope it does okay!

My first shot with my EF-25 Extension Tube (thanks Nicholas!) That thing rocks.

Huh, yeah.. now that I read the comments I can see where you filled in the carved-out part. It looks less real than the other parts when I concentrate on it. However I did not notice at all during voting, and I really don't think it's a big deal even now that I see it.

Very clever! Love the title and the set-up in this one! Simple in presentation and absolutely wonderful in the execution of this image. Lighting is simply spot on fabulous! We can see all the juicy and mouthwatering details of this orange. My only critique (and it is a very small one really) is that I wish that the point of the hour hand was visible and did not disappear into the black background. 9
