I love this photograph. It's abstract and, indeed, very "modern" in appeal. I love the level of sharp and contrast you chose. Beautiful. -9

I like it how you lightened this and toned it. Makes it look like a match of chess in an artic icehole with freezing themperature. The blue tint and reflections grab me, the way those frozen opponents just stand there like icy pillars adds to the cold feeling.

I like the composition & angle. defintiely one of the better chess shots that I have seen on dpc thus far. And as you know, this theme is used often. Good job adding something to it!

Cool shot, good fit to the challenge. I like the color and use of reflection. It does seem the depth of field is a little shallow for the foreground pieces.
