| A solid entry with nice crisp lines and background. I agree it doesn't stir me, however. I imagine if the whole DOF from pistil to petals was in focus it would be a bit more intriguing, or maybe some work on lighting. Nothing wrong with this entry, though - just not your best work. |

| Jason, great closeup. nice colors and background. The only thing that I would have changed would be to get the very center peice of the flower in focus. I don't know the names of my flower parts very well but you know what I mean. Otherwise, nice job. |

| I like the colors, but there doesn't seem to be enough lighting on the top petals. I think a different crop or angle may add to this photo. |
