 This is on a hill above my house. It is taken on the campus Cal State East Bay, which is really just an extension of Cal State Hayward. It is a 30 sec exposure and the light is actually from the city on the other side. Dodging and burning but it was close to how it is. I think some lower clouds were moving a different direction than the higher ones.

Ohmy! This is SOOO COOL! I LOVE perspective shots! And this one with that beautiful minimalistic feel! WOW! What a dramatic sky -- and a striking photo! This is DEFINITELY print-worthy!

hi joe ... & WOW .. you're a master b&w craftsman!! ... this is just beautiful .. i absolutely love the minimalism .. love the composition .. love the dense black without any grey at all in the landscape ... AND THAT SKY!!!!!!! ... STUNNING .........

i'm interested that it was a 30 sec exposure .. wot sort of F/stop? .. i would've thought you'd lose the utter black with such a long exposure ... and wot ISO??

You know it looks like those two trees are trudging up the hill. The smaller tree seems to be doing it harder - GRIN!

Oh My, Joe!!!! Truly wonderful. I love everything about it. The blur of the clouds with the strong steadfastness of the trees and the harsh black of the land. GORGEOUS. Straight to favs.

Very impressive minimal! I am struck with the smooth solid curve of the ground and the strong moving sky. The two trees are the right touch to complete the frame. Great B&W image!
