Certainly am enjoying your 30-Day series, especially this one. The vista is magnificent and it brings to me a place I have not yet visited. I can remember swimming in ice filled sea in Northern China one winter when the temperature was about -25C or so. It's like swimming in razor blades. But if one turns ones mind off to the pain, it is quite an ethereal experience. |

Yes, winter sure looks beautiful there. It looks like a Christmas card! Perfect use of that sun -- to make it look like a big star :)
I've been hearing that this is an unusually brutal winter for everyone in the north. Something Texans only dream about :)
