Great title and observation of an urban anomaly that most wouldn't even notice. Now that you mention it, I do seem to see the "trolleys" everywhere. One of the ladies from Oz showed us a picture of a trolley graveyard IIRC. Love the color, perspective, and the expression on your fellow passenger's face. |

So many things about this photo really stand out to me. Love the contrast between the colors in the sky and the fence. The perspective that the shot was taken from makes the whole photo seem larger than life. |

Great shot, the angle is cool, the sky looks great against the deep green fence, and you've got a shopping trolley in the frame.....what more could you ask for!! |

I like what you did with the colors - it's really good. Composition, too. |

There seem to be a few comments about this lady not being happy about me taking her picture. Although I didn't speak with her, I'm quite certain she didn't mind. I was actually already set up and taking pictures of the cart with no one there and she walked over and waited right next to it, clearly in my field of view. It would have been very easy to walk an extra 10 feet over and wait outside the field of view. When she did stop there, I waited a bit and watched to see if she would react to my camera but she didn't. The expression on her face is just a neutral expression, kind of an 'I'm tired and want to go home' thing. |

Excellent perspective here. Shopping carts are all over the place here too! |

That's so interesting. We never see shopping carts except at grocery stores, or if a homeless person is carting one around.
This is intereting, and I love the sunset colors! It's very artistic.

This is really cool and Ilike all the colors from the different lights around. And she must have been steady for that long of shutterspeed. |

That's SO funny - I was saying to a fellow photographer today that since my 'Retirement' photo - I've been noticing trolleys ALL OVER the landscape where I live.
Maybe we need a trolley/shopping cart challenge - GRIN!
Did this woman know and/or mind having her photo taken? |

Cool with the orange sky, green fence and sidewalk lines converging. Good observation about the carts too.
