This is a nice capture of your pet. However, he's gotten lost in the same tone color of the needles that are on the ground. It would be a lot better to have him cropped much closer so that he's not overwhelmed by the groundcover. |

I bet when he lies down you can't see him in that grass!! He looks a bit grumpy...has he not been fed yet? (that's usually why my cats look grumpy!!) |

nice shot and I think a lower angle would help some too. also your green leaves look abit orangish. the lighting is great :) |

That is a content looking cat.
When shooting, try to get at eye level with animals when you can. Something about shooting that way tends to draw attention to the animal in the image.

Oh, I love Simba! I've always wanted an orange cat! They seem to be so peronable. I have a really pretty calico, but my husband says I can get an orange cat if I get a new husband. Hmmmmm. I'm still thinkin' about it :) (juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust kidding)
I love all the gold on golds in this photo. Very personal. Great shot!
