 this is my daughter aLi coming home after seeing her boyfriend tonight ...
she likes me to watch her coming in when its dark coz she's only 18!!! .. i was watching her driving into the garage & thought it looked cool with the lights etc .. so i ran to get my camera in the computer room, and then told her to reverse out a bit so i could take shot ... no tripod, just a steady hand ... NOT ... seeing i wont be able to put anything in tomorrow i'm putting this in now .. its only one and a half hours to day 7 here in australia anyway ... but i dont think anyone's counting ...
lightened and gave it a green tint in RAW .. then in CS2 did some levels, selected sat, and overlayed something or other, then erased bits and pieces, dodged and burned more bits and pieces, resized and selectively sharpened and then skewed image ...

this is the original .. i've lightened it a bit by increasing the exposure because it would've been very difficult to see the any details if you wanted to compare it with the edited version

This is an interesting take... I'm not sure I like it but then again I'm not sure I don't. The green tint to me is a little unnerving.

Did you think about that you were standing in a very dangerous position when you shot it? : )

Roz, your garage is frighteningly neat and your daughter is sitting on the wrong side of the car!!!! 8)

the shelves on the right scare me, they look like they could fall down fairly easily!!!!!

But the shot is cool.

Maybe next time you could set up your tripod and get a long exposure of her backing out and the lights disappearing into the distance!!!

That makes a really cool picture! Isn't it amazing how this thread has gotten us to see a photo in such normal every day things? You're so right: the lights, the composition of the car 1/2 way in the garage. It really does look neat!
