Whiterook or a whiterook wannabe. It is a cute idea tho to have a brain challenge amongst fruits and veggies. Too bad you have all that nosie in the pic. |

JMHO...I am offering a comment because "team work makes the dream work"
The Color is off as well as too grainy. There is no real compostion and the bottom crop was not done well. The "spectators" don't "read" like a crowd or fans of the game, but rather just placed to satisfy what was probably a good idea. Keep at it though. I am too new to offer advice to improve(not at my figer tips} but I have learned about Jpeg and the right time to save. Look for a tutorials or post the photo in a thread once judging is over.
Forge on! |

Different, but what's with the grain? Did you intentionally do this or just use a way high ISO? |

You should change your trademark because everybody knows by now the famous chess board so you can't hope for the brown anymore. Good luck. |

This is an interesting concept and I generally like noise used in an artistic mannner but I'm not sure it works well here. |

Interesting concept but low contrast and severe color noise hurts this image.
If it is white's move the bananas are recommending the grapefruit move G3 to G4 to put pressure on the black queen and open things up for a ferocious king side attack against black. That will make for an exciting game. The squash's bishop and queen side rook are no longer well positioned to protect the black king and allows white to develop the attack. |

interesting idea, but it looks like it may have been seriously underexposed and adjusted in post processing, which introduced a lot of noise.
Compositionally, it is a bit "busy." there is a lot going on here, and the perspective is a bit to "straight on." One thing that might make it a bit more dynamic is to lower your perspective and use a shallow depth of field to highlight the fruit/veggies from the pieces. Or simplify, and try not to include quite so much "stuff" in the picture. |

congratulations - this photograph contains a fruit and/or a vegetable, therefore it meets the challenge! well done!
um ... extremely grainy, but not a bad idea for a humorous composition. i think you need to ensure that your framing is more clean. the top left corner looks bad, and the fruit in the bottom is cut off.
nice try! 5! |
