My ABSOLUTELY favourite tree is in my front yard. I live in a suburban street and SO MANY people have suggested we remove this beauty - I REFUSE!

So inspired by the current forum thread 'Angel Eye or Angel Eyes' - I thought I'd try a crack and turning just one tree into a perfect pair!

I LOVE the detail running down the middle.

wonderful image, just super. well done, the mirroing is subtle, and takes a second to be clear. yup, trees are vital. luckily, halifax, my home town, prides itself on its trees. one old one stuck its roots into my mum's sewer - there was no question of it coming down - they just dug up the sewer and put in a new, tree-proof one.

I've been looking at this one for a couple of days now. And every time I do I see this shine, grasshopper right in the middle where the mirror design meets. This is a great way to present the tree without being boring.

I don't understand either - it's like people in the suburbs are allergic to nature!

We also had VERY large trees on our block removed by the water company - so I have had the experience.

But this tree of mine in my front yard is STUNNING and SECURE - sure it drops it's leaves and they blow all over the street (and it has spikey pods that it sheds too) - but it's NATURE! It comes in cycles, how magic!

And it's amazing how everyone loves it when they're trying to find shade for their cars in our street - GRIN!

POWER TO THE TREES!

Neat image, and I like how you've played with it; when I first saw it it looked like two trees were holding hands!

/mild hijack/ The power company wanted to take down a bunch of trees on my dad's property; came by, walking along, marking them, and he went out and told them to get off of his property. They said they had the right to be there, and were taking down a bunch of his trees. He told them to prove it, or else next time they showed up he was calling the police for trespassing (they offered no proof they were allowed to be there, other than pointing at the power lines and saying, "those are ours"). The trees we planted when I was young are still growing ;) I hope yours stays around, too! /mild hijack/

Cool, "symatree"! I like trees too. I guess you can tell from seeing my images. It hurts me when they destroy big pieces of land and put up "cookie cutter" houses and big condos here.

Oh man! Thank you for not removing that grand old tree! That would be so sad! It's so beautiful! It almost looks like this one could have been used in the Personification challenge!

Awesome!

The power company came and took out 6 of my trees and made me sick. Unless it is a hazzard or dies never cut it down, I like you perspective.

A tree and at the same time looks like lace. Maybe a bit darker? Like it

Not much for climbing, but if we're working in the front yard we can hoist the kiddies up and they can ride one branch like a horse! Childhood - just as it should be - GRIN!

Like the effect you have done here and don't cave in and knock this beauty down......is it a good climbing tree?
