When thinking of something bad, I was browsing venitian masks and they always remind me of the Black Plague. I had one of these masks laying around and its always reminded me of the masks that the "doctors" wore during the plague, so I took a portrait of it. So I guess in an offhanded way I was trying to portray the mask as a representation for the plague which just so happened to be "Bad"

Hi Phil. Fantastic, sinister composition - definitely 'bad'. I love the touch of the eyes peerign through. Negatives for me are the lights bits and texture on the cowl (not very sinister and the nature of the light on the mask itself (a bit noisy and not very sharp). I think you could have improved this with a pass through neat-image or noise-ninja, and then a tough of USM. I've been doing a lot of darker shots recently and am coming to learn that they just don't do as well on DPC (unless they are truely superb).

Sorry, this is a bit too black for me, you loose so much detail in the shadows. (4)
