I don't know why these are all over the place in Chattanooga, but they are! SO, here is the one by the Chattanooga Theatre Center. I have no idea what it is. Care to guess??

Looks a bit like "9 inch nails... on steroids"? Ask rossbilly about the "Sculpture Garden" on the campus where he pretends to work :D

It kind of looks like it has some really big feet and long legs. So I'd have to say that it's some kind of an abstract person. I wonder what it would be like to shoot from right down close to the ground and looking up to give those legs and feet a really really distorted view...

It's a sculptors rendition of "Art" :) And indeed it is a very cool, abstract sculpture. It reminds me of a big orange one in downtown San Antonio.

I love it!

It looks like a collection of hammers fused together - bring on the scultures!

Maybe it is a critter that has been hanging around over near the Oak Ridge nuke facility.
I like the thing. I wonder who thinks all these things up?

Hmmm stainless... possibly, I didn't touch it :-) A FLOWER POT STAND or A NUCLEAR CRITTER! Good ones! We will have to have a vote later LOL I sure wish I knew who thought that up... it is weird to say the least! LOL

It is metal of some kind. I don't know what though. Spaceship landing gear! Never thought of that! Possibly... I couldn't find a plaque anywhere that would tell us... we will just go with the best answer LOL :-(
