Plants outside my house; fog again, so played around with some selective desat. I think I like it:

levels
select layer (is that even the right way to say it?)
desaturate background
tone background
Blended plant layer

I think I like it.

I LOVE it! I love how the color and the sepia tones mix. I'm a big fan of adding just a splash of color to sepia tones. And your shallow depth of field makes this so incredibly interesting! Fantastic job!

Fog sure can be beautiful and contrasting with the green plants makes it even prettier!

It looks like a good venture into P P land. If you do this again sometime, you might want to try misting the plants with a pump bottle to see if the droplets will look good.

Very nice. This wonderfully sharp foreground just pops out against that BG.

Oh it looks very artsy - great job on the selective desat. I'm unexperienced at it, but this is inspiring.

I like it! I have a very similar plant in my back yard. It does make for some interesting photos. Does this one get little red berries on it too?

Hiya Rob, it's been foggy here in Merseyside as well today, but the sun broke through for a few hours this arvo. I think you've done a good job with the desat, don't know how to do that myself!! Anyway it makes the foreground really stand out.
