 This was shot at Iroquois Park in Louisville's south end. The sky was dull and grey so I decided to convert to b/w. I like how the little bit of snow added some highlight. Comments?

a nice shot. if the foreground was a little darker, it would bring the eye into the image more.

A narrow crop, eliminating the left tree would add a pointed spotlight to the back tree and main focus. Very nice.

I like the B&W very nice, like the lines of the trees then the one on the ground is very interesting.

Isn't it amazing how a black and white conversion can make an ordinary photograph all of a sudden look dramatic and beautiful. This is great.

Even tho the sky is gray and wintery, it still has clouds and texture. I think this is a great photo. I love the contrast that the snow gives it. Great job.

I really am glad that you chose this shot. I think the downed tree really adds some interest. And I'm sure you are absolutely right, the little snow sure adds to it.

I agree with you about the snow, it adds a nice highlight. I really like the composition of this shot with the foreground tree off centre and the fallen tree breaking up the lines, very nice.
