I love this host, the off center, the DOF, the lighting is as close to perfect as it could be, the contrast is also close to perfect and the border is not intrusive and doesn't take away from the shot. Started at an 8, moving to a 9 |

I like this use of DOF, and the stones seem perfectly centred in the deth of that field. Also like the simplicity, and the scattering of small leaves make me think this hasn't been 'cleaned up'. |

A technically well presented photo. The composition fits as does the shallow DOF which forms a frame around your main subject. |

Understated, perfect take on challenge. Good use of thirds and well balanced image. Your DOF is spot on. I think the only thing that might have made this a better shot for me, just a bit more contrast. stiil in my top 4. a 9 from me:)

I find this shot quite powerful. The negative space works weel here. It makes me feel sad in a way to see that this place was once sacred but doesn't lookt this way anymroe. The symbolism behind the leaning stone is also envoking. Great job! :-) |

Quirky image that is playful, yet still manages to evoke sacredness. Weird. Weird but good. |

Cute title. Effect image. Wish I could see the 'other' side of the leaned on stone - did it have writing ? I wonder if the B&W, removing all the green actually detracts from this scene ? |

I like the simplicity of the composition. I like how one stone leans against the other and appears to "look" into the heavens. If the stones were composed in the bottom right corner it would give some space for the stone to be facing into. |

While I do believe that you have filled the requirement of the challenge the execution is a little not quite there. The picture has no punch, the grave stone is washed out (the one that is leaning on the other) and the blurry grass in front is taking away from the picture. In this case I think that maybe this would have come out better in color with some saturation of the grass. Only my opinion though. |

One of the simplest shots in the challenge, but very moving and not at all preachy or sectarian (which is starting to bug me as I vote). Perfect focus. Nice work. |

I love the simplicity of this shot. The DOF works well to isolate the gravestones and the tones are wonderful. Good job! |
