I look at it more better now and it does have alot of noise in it too! I can't believe but like I said it was my first major picture to do and I guess I was nervous it I wouldn't do well.

I do admit, I didn't do too well on this one but it was also my first major picture that I had to take. I like it though and I appreciate all the help.

Thank you.

Neat idea. Could improve by avoiding the glare at the top right corner.

This is a good attempt, to be sure. However the lighting is a bit off. I think you should have some light from the front, as well as the top, so we can see more detail in the cat's fur.

Lighting needs to be improved somewhat...

Background distracting and there needs to be more light on the cat and hat for better definition.

Too much light in the back, not enough in the front. Cat IN the hat?

trendy theme. Lots of noise in the photograph.... Background could be further back and out of focus.

Cute idea. The drape and light seem wrong. Satin [shine] is hard to keep from snagging and to control the glare. With the light behind the cat it's hard to see the hat. Points for creative style.

Cute idea, cute cat. I'd like to see less dense shadows on her face, possibly a second light source in front of her, low enough to preserve the back light effect but fill in the dark spots a little.

maybe a different choice of hat - something colorful
the cats face is a bit dark - more detail there would have been effective

i see some blown out colors on the face/hat as well. -5

Would have been better if the cat was IN the hat. I know how unwilling cats are to be models, though ... tried to use mine for a couple shots for this challenge myself and they just would not help me out. :-)
