Great image, and I like the stories you tell (in both words and images); I, too, like the centered composition and the lining up of the White House behind the stone. |

Cool shot with the White House in the background. Since I don't know too much about American history, I didn't know this existed (the milestone I mean, not the White House!!) so I have learned something new today, cheers!! |

I really like how it looks like the White House is hovering on top of the stone. Just an illusion, but it tickled me. |

hey Jeff,
I copied your image and brought it into Photoshop.
A healthy dose of sharpen using the unsharp mask added a lot of detail to the letters give it a try and see what you think! |

Neat! I can't beleive I didn't see that when I was in Washington in November....I was right there and took photos of the White House! And I am certainly looking forward to your photos of Washington. I was only there for a weekend and didn't get to see much other than the usual tourist places. |

I like it! I love quirky little things that most people never see or don't realize exist. I am one of those people that likes to stop at the roadside tourist traps!
I like how you lined it up with the White House in the background. Sky is a little flat and I would try to clone out the (what looks like) yellow police tape on the left. |

It's a shame we can't read the text - it would strengthen the photo. Look forward to more quirky bits of your town. |
