Nice shot Amy, like the soft colours alround except the brighter green which really pops.

I love that you kept the road on the right side of the frame and avoided the temptation to center it in the frame. That very well may have worked, but most people (especially on DPC, it seems, in my short experience) center roads, and this gives a different perspective that I like a lot (sort of, standing by the road, rather than driving or walking on it).

Cracking shot, looks hot and parched, the trees stand out being so green against the thirsty grass.

Nice muted tones. I like the detail on the road. Looks definitely isolated. I would only take some time later on to clone out the wires against the sky to make the hill in the distance stand out with few distractions.

This would seem even more "nowhere" if you could clone out the power lines. I like how the cross street has a yield sign and not a stop sign!

Nicely green in an arid world. It's a long time since I tasted the dust of the outback...

That is an awsesome view. Sometimes we get jaded and forget to look at what is around us.

This has a HDR feel to it. I like the depth and the mountains in the background. Another fitting tile might be "the road to nowhere". I like how the road seems to just kind of end at the trees. The overall dirty / gritty feel to the image works to your favor as well.

Suggestions for improvement (IMHO): There's a bit of a vignette on the photo I'm not terribly fond of. The power lines are a little distracting (but I know, whatcha gonna do). There's a little bit of magenta in the mountains I'd maybe take out. More than anything I'm just being nitpicky though to try and add something helpful ;)

Edit: ya know, I took a closer look with my color picker and I think my new monitor / eyes have been playing tricks on me 'cause there isn't any magenta in them mountains.
