 From my upstairs front window at about 1300 (1pm) today; it was incredibly foggy all morning, and stayed that way until about 1500. The sky is really drab, and the lighting stinks, but that's what it looked like outside, so I didn't do too much with it! Yes, that is the sun trying to break thorugh above and to the right of the tree. Shot with my manual focus AI zoom lens (so that's why none is listed). Funny the exif reports an aperture of f/0 when you use a manual focus lens on the D50. Now that's a fast piece of glass!

This is a great image. If it were a challenge entry I would clone the sun out as it looks too much like a lens smudge, but there is not a thing wrong here. Great job!

Well at least you've got some type of weather there in Norwich, it's just grey in Merseyside, no fog, no rain, no wind, just grey!! It's a nice shot of the fog, I like the sun trying to break it's way through and the trees shrouded in the distance.

I'm glad to hear that we are not the only ones stuck with foggy kinda conditions. Not the easiest photography weather, is it. However, I must say, you did a very good job with it.

I like the fog alot on this, maybe try to brighten the buildings alittle, but that about it.

It just wouldn't be the same without the fog, I think it's great. I like the way the tree looks as well, backlit by the sun.

Suggestions for improvement (IMHO): I'd like to see more of the houses (at least the bottoms) so I'd suggest perhaps a little bit wider angle.

What a COOL photo! I love the foggy grayness of it. Makes you feel good about cozying up inside. I love that sun that looks like the moon :)
