This is also my favorite shot of the two. Having said that, I love both of these shots dearly... but this one I could stare at forever. It reminds me of something you'd find in Ansel Adam's portfolio. Breath taking. |

I think I rather like the full animal, this version, rather than your challenge entry which was of the chest and head of the animal. This is rather an exceptional photo - but not sure if it would have had such a good result in the challenge. One thing, this one looks a bit less processed than your challenge winner. |

Your use of shallow DOF (whether in camera or post is immaterial) along with B&W really makes this a very strong, dynamic photograph. (And having read the Richmond GTG thread, I know now how you get such great shots of these guys - they don't seem to mind having photogs around!) |
