| i love this shot! the backround props are perfect, the cards have that worn look, and the shallow dof just finishes it off! |

| I like the composition (compared to the other "card shots")...a dominant OOF background suggesting the game,bets,drink etc and then the cards close up to the viewer in the foreground. |

| I dont like such a shallow depth of field here. It just looks strange. Open it up and bring the background into better focus. I do like the sharp blacks against the muted brownish background. Good photo! |

| thank you, thank you, thank you for taking the playing card idea for the challenge and interjecting some creativity into it to produce an interesting and well-made shot. elements are well chosen and arranged. like that you used a use set of cards, goes well with the other elements and the warm lighting. nice use of shallow dof. one of two highest scores of 9 for this challenge. |

| Oh, yes. It is good to have it in hand. I like the background with the ring and watch on the table. I also like that the cards are used - not brand new. 7. |

| this would be stronger if the cards were clean/new ... I like that the focus is sharp and the DOF and composition are good |
