My first experience with a food still. As I was putting the groceries away, I noticed the vibrant colors of these fruits and vegie and decided to set them up and shoot away. I placed them in many postitions on a black granite top. The line is showing up in the reflection so I am concerned this might knock me down. I am also concerned about the processing. I am still learning my new photo shop and wonder if I overprocessed this or not. I tend to do that and trying to find the fine line between too much and not enough. So even though this may or may not score well. I want to get a feel as to what others think. So this time I am changing up my rule a little bit. Hopefully I do not regret it.

post:
WOW! Commenters were right on with my husband about the crop. I think my husband should take over my camera. He calls it better than I do. Well, I said I might regret this, and not expecting this low of a score, yes I do to a degree. I have to keep in mind this is a learning experience so I cannot be too disappointed if I can only learn from this.

Interesting recipe. Am sure you're getting lots of comments about stuffing the pepper (into the frame) instead of chopping it. Oh well, you'll get another shot at it for the F&V challenge. Great colors, btw - a regular stoplight.

great photo - i´m not sure I like the cropped red fruit - i would prefer to see the whole fruit - otherwise good job

I like the reflection in the table, but it would have been nice to have the peper in the shot or out.

Very nicely setup. Would have like to see the top of the pepper IMO. But still a great idea and shot.

the lighting isn't very even , focus seems a bit soft and the pepper is cut off at the top ...
