LOL I thought that this was a reflection off of another building hence my comments below! This is a very cool shot and demonstrates how much more of an impact a shot can have if you do something simple like rotate it! Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more!

Congratulatons on this. I didn't recognize it although I was there for the Olympics. I like the 180 degree turn, your wife must be very wise (lol) |

Excellent work. You have make the 'ordinary' look very interesting. This is something that is often lacking in my own work, so I applaude it in the work of others. Good Luck, Todd. 9. |

I love the "painted" effect of this image! And the grid lines add a very interesting "modern" effect to the image that contrasts with the classical church architecture. Well done! My only comment is that it looks like a tiny bit of counter-clockwise rotation might have helped align the grid, but probably at the expense of tilting the church too me. |

This one had me confused. At first I assumed it was the Mormon temple in Salt Lake City, UT (USA). VERY similar architecutre, and we just happened to be visiting there this past Monday. But going through some of the pictures I took, it appears I was mistaken. I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know where this is. :)
Back to your photo... Nice, interesting perspective. I assume it's rotated 180%, and this reflection is off something on the ground. The lines give an interesting effect. I generally like it OK, though it doesn't really wow me. Nice, different entry. |

This is great! I took a similar photo this summer but i guess the wind was blowing over the pool and the temple looks more distorted. Still looks pretty cool though. Yes Temple Square is definitely a place of reflection ;) Great job! |

Now this is by far the most original shot of the challenge! Bonus points for creativity! :-) Is it the glass that gives it this water effect? I like it when photos make me ponder! :-) The lines also seem to invite you to come into the church. Good job! |

Very cool angle! I wanna know 1) Where is this & 2) where the heck were you to get the reflection from this angle. I'm gonna guess you were in center wing up high...

Very well done. I love it when symetrical things are photographed with precision. The perspective is unique. The blue confuses the brain, inviting the viewer to pause and discover if this is water or glass. |

Now why would this have to be validated? I see a great reflective shot myself that my gut instinct told me was a 4 to start because the reflection was so wavy but coming back and looking again, I like the lines, the way they draw you into the shot and the way they take you through. A slightly less wavy effect would have gotten you a 9 or 10, raising to an 8 |

Cool effect! I always like seeing originality in photos and people trying out new ideas. The effect is very good here, the criss cross lines look like a kind of grid being beamed outwards by the church in the background. The blue works well and brings an element of coolness into the image. A slight tilt to the left might have squared it up a little, I get the feeling it is leaning to the right, but then again it might be because I had too much wine last night and can't look at things on a normal level this morning :-) You've flipped this image, haven't you! |

cool reflection - the bottom of a tiled pool? the grid gives dimension to all that blue - like a diagram of the universe. very imaginative. 8 |

very cool angle of the Salt Lake Temple. Whenever I've gone by, the wind is blowing to much on the reflecting pool. |
