Thanks eyewave, I do at times shoot the spectrum, however my passion for photography does revolve around birds, This is were I think this site can motivate me to expand into other areas..

Thanks N-Jeb, I am proud and a bit shocked that this photo did so well, I hope to post within many more challenges, I Really do cherish this blue ribbon, I realize with the quality of work here I may never see another..

This is such a great capture, i am totally jealous fo this shot, the only thing I would recommend is to darken it a little, or use shadow and highlight to take away some of the brightness.

| Wow!!! As this picture was loading and I saw the feet pointing skyward, I knew this was going to be spectacular! Fantastic DOP, sharply focused, excellent colour tones. Well done! Out of curiosity, was this picture rotated or is this a real dive? |

| The bird really pops with the choice of DOF though the sparkle in the eye seems to be missing. The diagonal makes the image dynamic though I feel the angle is a little too acute. Also, I would like to see more to give the image context. As it is, the bird is floating with no connection to it's environment. |
