 I've been trying to get a decent shot of these Matrioskas for a while, so I decided to compose this one. Although it is not the ideal or perfect image I had in mind, I like it, considering the resources I've got.
The lighting is natural: single source from the window.
Post processing adjustments include: brightness/contrast, saturation, color balance, cropping, re-size for web, USM.

This composition is an allusion to my daughter, who's getting married later in the summer, and to mark the start of such an exciting event (and process) that's going to permeate our family for a while...

I hope it will make my front page!
