The crop wasn't actually intentional but I had a hard time getting the crop I wanted because it was low tide and I was on a slope. Adam later helped get my head in the shot but then it was too much of my upper body and I wanted it longer so I went with this one.

I edited the sand a lot to get rid of the footprints and shells. Too much? Probably. My lens has been acting up to. Not much longer before it dies I think... it is from the 80s.

I enjoy these contemplative type of pictures. This works really well for what I think you were trying to accomplish.

The crop is fairly good but yeah, a bit more of your head would have helped but we work with what we have. Slopes and all.

Great tones/contrast/colors in this. The sweater isn't blending into the sand and that's a good thing and the sand looks natural.

Really nice.

Bummer about the lens :( Your shots are always fantastic tho! :) Love the brown tones, they are very rich.

This is a great crop! Maybe should have left some of the shells in the sand though, it looks a bit like concrete here. The lighting is working well, and love how the blue jeans stand out!

So was this taken Saturday or Sunday by Lifeguard Stand #9? I was over at #3 on Saturday. At any rate, I live the tones in your shirt and in the sand--they go well together.
