 I was up in the Colmbia River Gorge again this weekend. I had this challenge in the back of my mind. When I saw this rock with aquamarine color of the water behind it, I knew this shot would work. I wish I could edit out the faint piece of grass in the bottom right corner. Hopefuly it will be good enough, but we'll see. Nothing too special about it. I had the 70-200 AF-S 2.8 with me along with the TC-17EII extender. The combination of the two gave me a maximum aperture of 4.8. I think it worked, not 2.8 but I like it. Hardly any post. Just Levels to set black and white point, Curves to correct color cast, and Brightness and Contrast.

Interesting, it almost looks like a studio set. I get absolutely no sence of perspective.
