I left this one behind because I didn't know what I was looking at. I was seeing it as an office lamp but the upper part was looking not like a bulb but like a hole in the wall. Today I said: I have to rate it either I see it or not. And I tried again. I can't tell you how happy I was when I discovered it was a chair. Nice depth of field and nice lighting. Now I can rate it. Looks like a 9 I think.

I think that the knife and whatever is above it are too difficult to make out. Perhaps a presentation that makes those objects easier to make out would make for a stronger presentation. 7 -danny

I like the limited pallet. The focus and lighting are good. I don't know about the knife pointing to the edge of the chair. I like it as a leading line but think it gives the photo a "too studied" look.

Nice crisp picture. I like the perspective on the knife. Perhaps a little more lighting
on the chair would have made it recognizable.

This is interesting..I like the lighting in this all except the background, I am having difficulty in making out the shapes in the shadows. it is a beautifully done shot otherwise I like it
