 Sunset washed this lovely Oregon Grape Plant colourfully emerging from between the rocks on the beach. A harsh environment that it did not seem to notice.

Beautiful color and wonderful, crisp focus. It would be interesting to soften the background in Photoshop and see what that does for the image. The detail in the rock fights with the sharp curves of the leaves.

The image itself is great but voters may downgrade you with too large an area "in focus".

I like the color contrasts and good DOF, but perhaps a looser crop would have kept my eyes from wandering out the frame,
