I disagree ... I LOVE the lighting and exposure and lack of it. It is mysterious and intriquing. Underscored IMO. |

I LOVE the lighting on this. I've been hoping to set something up like this for a shot myself, but havne't been able to really work on it yet. If you ever wanted to do a wrtieup on the ligting setup, this should be the one.

| I really like the idea behind this one with the dramtic shodows accentuating the figure and the breast but i think it's slightly too dark and the light in the top right (from the hand i think) is a little distracting from the concept of the picture. Still a great shot though |

| A very nice figure study and an interesting silhouette, but something seems a bit offish. I think maybe it's the light catching the back of her neck right beside her right arm and the light on her left arm and thumb. This is potentially a very good shot, but the pose could be improved I think. |

| I like the back side lighting in this. Unfortunately I find too much of the image to be in darkness. By turning the model a little and presenting a broader surface so the light falls across it you get more interesting light and shadow play. 7 |

| I think that this has been made to dark (in an attempt to hide against detection). A crop through the middle with the left portion being kept makes this a more powerful image. |

| Wonderful lighting and pose... one minor improvement is the lighting on the model's left arm. I almost feel it would have been better had that arm mixed into the rest of the blackness, leaving only the right side of the body (photo left) in highlight. |

| beautiful left side shape/textures/shadows but not adequately balanced on the right, except by distracting arm and ?nail? IMHO. I may have just sliced this photo down the middle, which would show the highlight down the line of thirds!. |

| Very classic and nicely performed. In some cases shots such as this with very dark elements can end up creating unwanted distorted bodies. Here however, you have done well. |

i'm interested to see how this one does...very similar to what I *almost* submitted. I went another direction...we'll see if I made the right call :)
Beautiful lighting, sharp focus - subtle approach to the challenge. nicely done.

ps...not sure about the light that catches her left arm - might be a little more balanced with out it. not sure. doesn't affect my score either way. |
