Greets from the Critique Club:
Hi Andrej,
This is a decent portrait shot, like your previous submital. However it was hurt by the harsh lighting of the flash. I do like the humanity and the feeling present in this gentleman's face, but the rest of the photo does not really work for me. For one, I don't see the relationship to the title. He doesn't strike me as the doctor type (though I could be wrong). I think this is where you've lost most of the points with the voters, as the comments during the challenge indicate.
Anyway, as I said before, I'm not happy with the lighting, and I'm not happy with the composition. Combined they don't give a feeling of dynamism that should be present in a good photograph (i.e. The photo looks more like a snapshot then a art photograph)
I hope this helps and you have better luck with your next submission!

What's a DEARM? I looked it up and see it is supposed to be Dream. Still don't see any relationship with the picture. |

OK... Flat lighting added nothing to this portrait. |

Good light and detail; composition could be stronger, .e.g., not centered. |

So this guy is a doctor of dreams (which is mispelled)? What works here is that the shot was taken at night, when most of us tend to do the majority of our dreaming. Other than that, I dunno. As a picture itself, it's a nice clean focused shot with a very curous expression on the subject's face that adds a little something to it all. |

I personally cannot relate the image to the title but it's an interesting candid |
