 I took this picture of this flower which is about to blossom in a pot just outside my father's house. I used the available sunlight and attached a close-up lens. I thought the yellow flower in the BG will give a nice effect, as if the one in FG is to become like the one in the BG. I didn't really put much effort into this challenge, but I have developed a habit of checking DPC every time I get connected and I hate it when I don't see any submission :)

comments: Nice shallow DOF, I've been torn wondering how shallow the images should be and when I find one done as well as this it just adds to my idea the it should be very shallow.
