God, the focus and natural coloration couldn't be better. Spot on! I like the perspective, like we are peering over something spying on you.

I'm on my third remote already! They are so small, I keep losing them. I need to somehow get it to attach to my keychain. Enjoy the new remote and don't lose it!! LOL!

Cool gadget isn't it?

I browse a lot of these self-portraits, always looking to add to my mental database of poses, expressions, compositions, creativity, etc for use someday, and found myself just studying this one.
Besides the obvious great point of view and perspective, I am probably most impressed by the tones here and the lighting. The overall natural color and lack of over-saturation coupled with the deeper tones in the background make this first rate. The lighting, I don't think could be improved on in any way, and this is one shot I could easily have seen in magazine - it's that good.

You make it sound too easy Roger - "Nothing fancy" - yeah - right.

VERY nice wide angle on this, gives it a real character. Colourful and well done.

I like all the different angles and lines in this photo. Like the others said, great DOF and perspective. The only CC I have would be to stop that lamp from growing out of your arm. :)
