 Another outtake for the Best of 2006 challenge, but I'm not a big fan of landscapes or the composition of this, so I decided not to enter it. I do like the varying contrast and colors though. All editing was w/out layers.

awesome editing. it always amazes me when people pull out a beautiful image from what looks to be a snapshot.

my favorite thing about this image is the feeling of a vanishing point without any technical vanishing point.

I LOVE this shot. It speaks volumes and I like the sharpness of it. It gives in an EDGE which I think is appropriate for the statement that it is making. Congratulations on an excellent image with great perspective.

I quite like this photograph. Great color, framing and composition. The power lines do a great job of leading the ehe through the shot.

Personally i would of entered this shot.
I think it's really stunning.
I love the composition, as it's quirky and unpredictable.
The colours are brilliant, hazy and dreamy. Yet they give the feel of a long drive home, after a weeks holiday in the sun.
I love the road playing such a small part in this, and the cars just managing to creep into shot.
I also love the perpective of the power lines and street lamps driving off into the distance. Perfect title aswell.
If i came across this in a challenge i'd probably have given it a 9.
The only thing i'm not keen on is the square crop in this case.
Brilliant image, sorry for rattling on.

I love the DOF on this photo. The silhouettes are nice also. The sky looks very cool, just not sure on all the yellow. Would have liked to see a bit more of the sky in a more realistic tone. I might have cropped tighter on the right to eliminate the cars. I do like this photo!

This image seems to be oversharpened in my opnion...especially if you look around the wires and lights. Either that or the image itself is compressed too much. I like the clouds and the colors, although the overall image seem a little too yellow where the blues in the sky are.
