Nice shot! I think that when you photograph animals it is most important to focus on the eyes.

certainly meets the challenge in my book. Would have helped to have the eyes in focus instead of the nose.

The nose is really well focused but the depth of field I think takes away from this photograph because the dog's eyes arn't out of focus enough to not be destracting and not in focus enough to fit with the rest of the picture.
