You will do well with this shot. I myself would have prefered more punch into the orange tones and a little more harmony in the tonal range, but otherwise a good image.

Like the fact the colours aren't too bright, but the the cut orange looks like amber.

Wow! Nice clarity. My only gripe is that it's a bit dark. I would have scored this one higher if not for that. A 6.

I think if you had been able to get some blood oranges they would have really made this one stand out...

if the oranges had just a little more color intensity, this would get bumped 1 or 2 points. i like the setup.

This shot reminds of print photographs in magazines or cookbooks from the 1970s. Very groovy color scheme.

I wish the oranges in the basket were blurred a little more. nicely cropped (shadow on the table)

I like how the oranges reflect onto the table and how the subjects were setted. it's clear and not blurry. I like the added cup of orange juice as well.

I can see the picture that you wanted but the insides of the oranges look pretty bad. They actually look like they are rotten. The counter looks good and the reflection is awesome but the glare from the light on the glass is distracting. I understand that this is basic editing so I can see that you can't edit as much as I'm sure you would like too. Over all the image is a little dark but attractive.

White balance is off and DOF is to shallow IMHO
