 This is a composite of 2 images taken at the Air and Space museum in Dulles, VA, USA. The left part, overpushed brightness whith blown highlights documents/represent the plane just after the explosion of the atomic bomb.

5.5 is a pitiful score indeed for an image like this. The image is as 'cool' (as Julia sd.) as it is well-composed, IMO. It also teaches, which is more than a 'prettyness'. Alas, you were up against ignorance, including my own.

A little too much going on here.. I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at on the right side of the frame.Please dont take it personally, but it doesn't seem to fit the theme of the challenge.

i was ignorant, & didnt have any idea wot enola gay was ... so did a google and found out ... excellent idea, great processing .. great composition ... love your use of colour and b&w ...... fantastic result ..... =9

I think this would be a stupendous image if it were a little sharper. great historical referenc and story with this image. nice job. Might make a nice print with some art/brush filters, not for here but somewhere else.

I think when you photograph somthing like this you should state your position on what it represents. I assume you like what this aircraft did.
