Comments Made During the Challenge  |

| I can't find anything to say I don't like about this picture. The lighting is good, the blacks are deep, the focus is sharp, the composition is appropriate ... technically excellent. As a whole, though, the image leaves me underwhelmed. Can't say precisely why that is; maybe its just that images like this have been done many times before. But then again, I could say the same thing about most of the flower shots in this challenge, and they don't hit me the same way. I'm not trying to be overly critical here (I gave you a 7); just sharing my reaction. |
