Since I hadn't had a chance to get my camera setup yet, white balance is wrong, set to shade rather than cloudy. As a result it is kind of warm. Also the photo is too centered and I didn't have my ND filter on yet. No sharpening, straight from camera, sized to web. Normally I would have cropped this to 5x7 or 8x10 to get remove some of the dead bottom space. The one subject might be too big for some.

This is has flunky all over it. Though I do like the back and forth between the dogs. Context is there, just not the composition. Plus I am relying on my pets again. Cheers all. 4.7, my guess.

Post Challenge:
I knew it was a bad image. Oh well probably should have done this image instead:

If I weren't a camera flunky, I would have used this one most likely

Always next time.

Although all of them are nice images, I don't think any would have scored well in the minimalism challenge, because there is too much in the background. The ones that scored well had very little if any background.

Challenge aside, I really like this photo - the line of the path, the interaction between the dogs, the colors and textures.

You're right, you should have used your outtake instead. I think that it protrayed minnimalism much better. I always second guess myslef too and I general pay for it.

Not sure if this encompasses minimalism, but it's not a bad image. Interesting leading line created by the pathway.
