 Maybe a bit too dark for this crowd, but I decided to interpret the theme "Exit" as an emotional release... the mouth, the eyes, the expression leads the emotions outside your body, through the "exit". This comes as I just spent my last weekend "celebrating" the one year anniversary of two of my best friends' deaths.

It's a loose interpretation of the rules, but I guess I've always liked to bend rules a little - and it seemed appropriate to me, this week in particular.

In more specific techy details, this is a studio picture. Two 800 watt strobes places on either side of me with 85cm square softboxes. The camera was on a tripod and I activated the triger by hand. Simple.

The black and white conversion is a 32 step action that I have automated in Photoshop.

I really like all the lines on his forhead and nose. I wouldn't want to get in an argument with this guy.

The way you only shot his eyes and mouth shows his anger being released. I like the idea.

This guy looks crazy, really good photo, the scream looks a little understated though (if that makes any sense) maybe a little more emotion could of been put into the scream, still a good shot though
