This is my bedroom door. I just set up my studio lights behind the door to make it really bright on the "other side." Since I was in a tight hallway taking the shot, I didn't have much room to move.

I like the comment about getting lower to the ground. I'll have to give that a try! Thanks!

I liked this, but felt the PoV wasn't quite right. A vast improvement to composition and mood would have been brought about by getting lower to the floor. Either a level or upward perspective, rather than the downward it appears to have here. Great idea though :)

Its a door....but that sure is great lighting. Doesn't bore me a bit. (8)

The lighting and exposure are great in this photo. I love the long shadow of the door handle. Quite a bit of barrel distortion, but no fault of your own. While I think it is a simple composition, I think it would work even more if were more basic. Example, the carpet odesn't help that much, nor the left wall. I would be tempted to make this B&W. It is a great control of exposure and technical skill though. Above average rating.

It's a little plain, but the excellent lighting makes up for it! It gives the door a great range of values, and adds a ton of interest to the photograph.
