Greetings from the Critique Club!
This is a difficult shot to critique, because I can't quite tell what you were going for here. Your plane of focus seems to be very thin, and it looks like it hits the cup about half way down, causing everything to look out of focus. The colors are all very drab (perhaps black and white would have been better) and the lighting is not spectacular. The dirty cup does nothing but distract me from viewing the shot as a whole.
In short, the idea is good, but the execution needs some help.

| That is most sacred to some, like my husband. :) The off center of the cup is a good call but the brightness is wanting, and it looks more like hot chocolate than coffee :) A 5 |

| What do you put in your morning coffee,that looks discusting. But seriously I like the use of colors here. it looks almost lke you cut the bottom of the cup off. the sides of the cup are alittle distracting though. |

I like what you are doing with this shot, but the cup (i'm sure it's in the finish of the cup itself...) looks dirty and this creates an unpleasant affect. If you used an all white cup or another color (carmel or brown would be PERFECT) this would keep the color scheme and make a much more pleasing affect!

| Good perspective, surface choice. But the drops all over the cup are kind of subjectively unattractive. Fresh full cup of coffee would have been great. This is the right perspective though. There was another one, a picture of a starbucks cup, and i told him do do something like this (even before I saw yours!) |

| Good title but the shot is just not appealing to me. The coffee cup is out of focus and it's dirty looking. Sorry. Your idea was good. |
