| spooky eye. I like the colours, such as the squirrel completely matches the tree, but no real "pop" to the shot. |

| The composition is good but not to keen on the flash reflection in it's eye. Not an easy shot to focus on with the branches in the way, it is just a bit off. Good try, keep shooting :) |

| The squirrel would stand out better with a shallower DOF. What really stands out here is the glowing eye, which you could fix in advanced editing so it appeared natural. I am guessing you used a flash and that's the reflection. Don't know what equipment you have but a shallower DOF would also mean a faster shutter, which might let you avoid the flash and fixing its aftereffects. |

| A photo of a squirrel, but not a particularly strong image. The picture is not very sharp and it's a pity the eye has reflected the flash (if that is what caused it?). The branches both behind and in front of the subject are distracting. Having said all that I appreciate that getting closer was probably not an option! Certainly looks like a squirrels natural environment. |
