| Greetings from the Critique club. First I'd like to say what an awesome oppurtunity to shoot some wild elephants. Wildlife shots like this make me jealous. Let me say I think the shot scored fairly well for the challenge. A very tough challenge for sure with high scores. Let me state that I think you may have lost a few points for composition cutting off the elephant on the left may have hurt you some. I'd also liked to have seen a little clone to help remove the distracting piece of grass thats taking away from the little elephant in the front. Nice focus, good post processing and overall a well done entry. |

dark subjects will make your camera over expose. need -1 ev here.
framing and composition are not interesting. |

| Aw, how sweet! Would have been nice to have dad facing the camera a little more but I doubt you had directorial control. |

| I like the idea of the family grouping, but wish that the whole of the bull was in the frame - as it is, it doesn't look quite balanced. I might have been tempted to focus in on the mother and calf, who are beautifully posed. Nonetheless, an enjoyable photo to view. |
