 I had a reasonably good idea to begin with, but it just wasn't turning out the way I had hoped, so I abandoned the original plan.

As a result, here it is, 11:26 p.m. on the night the shot is due, and I've been buzzing around the house looking for anything nearly photogenic that isn't already sleeping...

Nice; I think it might have been better without the red base.

Very cool, but I don't like the black space. You should have totally zoomed in on the broom, focused the viewer's attention fully on the textures and color. Maybe even get rid of the red clamp at the end and just have the bristles and red twine.

Very interesting shot! Great focus and capture of the color. It doesn\'t seem to have much holding power though. I\'m not sure what exactly is lacking, but I would start by playing around with shooting the broom at different angles. See what lines you come up with...

I like this, but maybe if you could have gotten a bit closer without losing face of what it is? I don't know. Definitely a strong eight.
