Leash.

This is tattoo 2 of 3. It is a polynesian style sea turtle. I was inked while vacationing in Bora Bora, Tahiti.

I didn't know how to display a boring ankle, so I tethered my surfboard leash to it.

Duuuude... awesome composition. Like the turtle. Also, if I may make a humble suggestion... I would have upped the saturation to bring out the colors in the surfboard.

My other leg is alive and well. No shark has bitten it off. It's just purposely out of the frame. In fact, my third tat is on that other ankle, soon to be featured in an upcoming SP entry. Stay tuned... :-)

No chance of seeing your face in this one. I like that you just put the one foot in. Makes a more interesting composition. Would've been even funnier had it been your left foot, but in the same postition.

The one-legged surfer! I bet you got a great shark story... :) Nice job! You're right, without the tether and surfboard, it would be somewhat boring.

Hahah! More feet! This is great, Les, excellent lighting and the board and leg rope is a very cool idea! I also like how you only have one leg in the shot, leaves me wondering what happened to the other one? : ) gnarly!
