I suspect that most of the comments about quality all boil down to having to zoooooooooooom, right? :)
Because, knowing where that was shot, I suspect he was in one of those trees on the land side, not peninsula side? I've taken eagle shots down there that ended up almost exactly the same!
I still like it though... it's not easy to get a good shot of these ugly mugs :D |

Looks to be a overworked JPEG. When working in JPEG you need to make your adjustments, resize and save in as few steps as possible ( I try to do it in one step). Every time you open and close a JPEG it looses information. |

I love the vibrant blue sky and the way it makes the vulture just pop, the angle makes this shot very dramatic. Great image, good luck! |

My, what a beautiful creature - NOT! Nice shot of that smooth red head. |

I don't think the bird is very pretty looking. |

oof, oversharpened, over saturated. Seems like you were cropping too much out of the picture so it takes away from the quality. |

over processed. Tone it down. Cannot make a bad shot better by smacking it with photoshop |

Nice close shot but it's pity the focus is not quite there, or a bit of camera shake? |

Not the most attractive birds, are they? The branch framing is nice; sharpening and noise reduction look overdone in places. |
