 Light box shot, hand held. Spot metering. Custom white balance. +EV to make the background white. No sensor dust today ... amazing ... been changing lenses several times a day all week. Downsized to 640 with bicubic sharper interpolation, since the other allowable sharpening tools in CS3 are very blunt.

Needed something to make this subject more dramatic and interesting. Could have tried standing the crayon straight up, and maybe getting a shadow off it?
