Challenge: Minimalism II (Minimal Editing I*)

Date: Jan 20, 2007
Aperture: f2
ISO: 800
Shutter: 1/50s

It was interesting trying to take a minimalistic straight from camera shot. I hadn't realised how bad I usually am at keeping the horizon level.

Shot is rotated 270 degrees, sharpened (using the photoshop sharpen function), resized and sharpened again.

love the composition. all the action and story is taking place in this little corner of the frame, and is conveyed with a minimum of visual information. 9

I don't put this in the minimalism catagory.

Nice idea for minimalism. The cat seems a bit murky and blurry though. Maybe the lighting could have been improved?

Great capture! One of my favorites. I would like to see it in a more compact format. IMNSHO, you could cut off quite a bit at the top and make it a more powerful image.
